Books by Richard Carter
Alongside my commercial work, I’m an author of books on web design and development-related topics, and specifically in theming-related books.
Drupal Commerce Cookbook is a guide to customising the Drupal Commerce suite of modules for a powerful Drupal ecommerce website.
And update to my Magento 1.3 Themes Design book, Magento 1.4 Theme Design, is a guide to theming the open source Magento Commerce platform.
Joomla! 1.5 Templates Cookbook is a collection of 'recipes' designed to help you customise the look and functionality of your Joomla! website.
My second book, Magento 1.3 Theme Design, is a guide to theming the open source Magento Commerce platform.
My first book, MediaWiki Skins Design, is a guide to customising the design of the open source MediaWiki platform.
Books I've reviewed
I've also been involved as a technical reviewer on these books:
I acted as a technical reviewer on the Inkscape 0.48 Essentials for Web Designers book, a beginner's guide for designers wanting to use Inkscape.
After completing my first book, MediaWiki Skins Design, I was asked to review MediaWiki 1.1 Beginner's Guide, a beginner's guide to the MediaWiki platform.
I was invited to technically review The Definite Guide to Drupal 7 by Apress and duly obliged.
Packt offered me the task of technically reviewing Drupal 7 Business Solutions which I jumped at; Drupal 7's a huge improvement on 6!
I acted as a technical reviewer on this publication Drupal 7 Webforms Cookbook on behalf of Packt Publishing.
