WordPress North East is a regular meet-up here in Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North East of England. I’m proud to organise the events for the local community – we’ve had a brilliant range of topics and speakers over the years, with attendance of 50+ at some events.
But it’s not all about the numbers – what we’ve built with WordPress North East is a community of people willing to help others, fill knowledge gaps, and share our knowledge with others – and that’s what I love about meetups.

I gave a talk at WordPress North East last week, and have finally remembered to type up some of the notes to accompany the slides.
The talk was called A responsive workflow for WordPress theme development (catchy, I know), and was a run through of how I deal with responsive projects in WordPress at Peacock Carter.
