Feeling both too lazy to cook and hungry yesterday lunchtime (well, it was a Sunday), I went to Oldfields Restaurant in Durham.
The quality of the food was pretty good, as usual (though my spiced sausage risotto was a little overdone), and the service was fair – the only flaw with the service was the 15 minute delay in receiving our bill.
The restaurant is just outside the city centre in Durham, on Claypath – DH1 1RH.
