One of my favourite beers is Tiger Best Bitter from the Leicestershire brewery Everards. I used to be a freelancer in Leicester – see Evocative Design – hence the preference for it.
Everards have also done well in recognising the need for a well-designed website, everards.co.uk – one of only a few that seem to have bothered!
Tiger, rare beast in County Durham
Whilst it’s rare in these parts (I currently live in County Durham, and work in Newcastle at Peacock Carter’s offices), it’s quite often a guest ale at two of my favourite pubs in Durham, The Stonebridge Inn and The Market Tavern.
