As if working, tweeting, writing and reviewing was not enough, I also find time to do a few others activities.
Bricks McGee
I’ve been a LEGO fan for as long as I can remember, and this has spun off in to Bricks McGee, which offers event consultancy and LEGO model commissions.
Previous commissions include a series of 11 LEGO models of South Shields landmarks (including the Customs House Theatre) for South Shields Museum & Art Gallery in 2017. The “Little Landmarks” exhibition ran for 3 months, June – September, and the models are now part of the museum’s permanent collection.
Young Enterprise North East
Since 2010, I’ve acted as a business mentor for Young Enterprise North East. Young Enterprise’s graduate programme gives university students the chance to plan, prepare and run a company with their colleagues for a year; I support students at Northumbria University.
